Results & Pawformance Puppy & Dog Training Classes and Lessons

Results Puppy, Obedience & Manners & Pawformance Sports Offerings:

The dog house is open again on a limited basis for new trainers with a Puppy and dedicated alumni trainers!

If you have trained your past or present pet(s) with me through Obedience & Manners Level Two
and your pet is in need of a refresher or if you are just missing class..inquire!

Check back as new seasonal offerings may be added to those noted below.

Veterinarian Referrals: If you are referred directly to me, do call soon after the referral.
In most cases, addressing an issue early can avoid major issues later.
I will follow up with your veterinarian if I have Q's and to share progress made.

Personal Referrals: If you are referred by a past trainer/someone familiar with my training methods
and are willing to do 'homework', call to discuss doing a "Meet & Greet".

Note I can no longer work with very strong hard to control pets. Nor serious aggression or biting issues.

Sass? Shy pet? Reach out before little issues (example - puppy sass nipping) becomes a major problem. Most issues do not go away as a pet ages...

Past O&M Two Grad Trainer Alum With a New Pet and Veterinarian Referrals:

After doing a Meet & Greet" we can discuss possible training options! Room is limited, a wait list may be established for some offerings.
Feel free to send an email or call for more information. Please be sure to mention your current and/or past pet(s) and last classes and year(s) attended.
Or your veterinarian that is referring you and your pet.
Note! You must be able to physically handle your new pet as I am no longer able to handle medium-large or large, strong dogs that are out of control.
Nor extremely sassy pets. As always, no aggressive pets! (So annoying to be getting older!)

Past O&M Two Grad Trainer Alum With a Returning Pet

Offerings below are available on a imited basis. Email and include your phone number for a return call.
Please note your pet's name and last class completed with year if it has been awhile since you have been in class, thank you.
A 'Meet & Greet' may be suggested. Pets must be comfortable to attend.

Results and Pawformance Sports!

Location: North Howell area private residence.

Offerings are scheduled with interest, weather and season permitting.
Saturday and early eveming classes! Private, semi private and small group lessons -
all based on hands on training and praise reward, not treats, clickers or electronics!
These offerings give pets a nice outlet for their energy along with exercise!
Prerequisite for pets that have been on break six months or more is a Meet & Greet.
Advanced Specials are for Alumni

Puppy Class! Six classes - $150* Pay at start of each class, see below. Sorry, no checks or credit cards.
New? Group class starts Saturday, May 17 1-3p (no pets), *$50 cash due at start of class.
Then Mondays: 5/19, (no 5/26), 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23. Time: 6:30p. *$20 cash due at the start of each class.
Due to no class Memorial Day, Floor Time group practice is available Sat. 5/24 at 1:30p if desired. $30
Next group sessions start in July and September, inquire! Check back for updates.
Jump Start Meet & Greet, a private lesson(s) to get you started if desired. $40 1/2 Hour or $60 Hour.

Obedience & Manners For Results trainers including Results Puppy Class grads.
Meet & Greet, perhaps a private lesson(s) then Obedience floor time drop in for good practice!

Agility - Recreational
A variety of jumps, tunnel, hoop and weave poles and more based on AKC obstacles.

AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
Training and test practice. There are many venues in MI that offer testing! More info provided at class.

Saturday, April 26 - CGC test practice with guest Wendy W., Linden/Fenton area dog walker (and Pickleball friend)!

AKC Rally-Obedience (Rally-O)
Similiar to a rally course, teams do various obedience manuvers per cards posted at each station.
For recreation or show!

New - Silver Paws!* Help keep your beloved, geriatric pet engaged! A rename for my past 'Golden Oldies' class.
A mix of obedience, very low agility jumps, a few Rally-O cards, etc.
If it's been awhile, a 'Meet & Greet' may be suggested before attending as pets must be comfortable!
Sorry - "Silver Sneakers" passes are not accepted - haha!

Retrieve!
For sporting dogs and pets with a natural retrieve instinct.
A nice base for companion hunting dogs that will be flushing and retrieving,
not pointing breeds as I'm not qualified to instruct same.
Electronic, buzz collars are *not* used to force holds and pickups.

Tracking Intro
For pets that enjoy using their nose tracking trails outdoors to find items and people.
An interest list is started for spring! (This class does not require advanced obedience.)
Note: This is not 'nose work' for pets to locate sources of planted indoor scents
placed under and around props, furniture, walls, etc.

Outdoor offerings may be on hold at times depending on wildlife babes in training areas.

Obedience Floor Time Practice for Results pets.
Semi-structured obedience practice for Results-Pawformance people and pets that have completed basic 'how to do' lesson(s). $30 cash (sorry no checks or cc/s) due at start of offering.
Great for pets in need of a refresher! Offering may include different training levels.

Attending?

Health Record: Please bring a current paper copy health record for my file noting your pet's health is good
(nothing that may be a concern for other pets) and vaccinations are current on professional letterhead.
This is required. Please provide updates as they occur, thank you!

Required Forms for all pets are updated yearly:

NEW TRAINER and/or PET: A link is below, be sure to read the forms and if you agree with the terms, print this two page form and bring completed to the first class.

ALUMNI WITH A RETURNING PET? If your pet's form is on file with the same returning trainer, you only have
to refresh your pertinent information. Do read, sign and date the waiver (again) and I will
add it to your current forms. Thank you.

NO PRINTER? Arrive ten minutes early to complete a form at your first lesson or class.
